Purina has inducted a heroic Cane Corso
into its Animal Hall of Fame.
Here is his story:

2004

 

 Smiths Falls, Ontario      Kari and Steve Evoy's one year old Cane Corso woke his owners one November night. He was whining, pawing, and obviously deeply distressed. When the couple got up to see to their pet, they saw thick smoke. Juice quickly led them outside only just before their house was engulfed by  flames. The house burned to the ground within minutes.
